NEW ALBUM & We Want You On Board!!

Let's make a record.

GGG is making a new album and we’re exploring uncharted territory for the band. It’s the first album in 8 years that we’ll be self-releasing, which means full creative control and it allows us to bring you into the process.

We’re also recording directly to tape for the very first time, which is something we are crazy excited about. We have some amazing rewards set up when you pledge, you can even come into the studio with us for the day. Our entire project is fan funded, so please take a look and let’s make this album happen together. Take a look HERE at what we have in store and let’s bring this music into the world.

We’re very excited to be making our way back to the West Coast later this month and then headed to the farthest coast in the US: Hawaii.
We have some really great shows planned at some really great venues. I even got a message from a friend vacationing in Hawaii last week who heard our show in Honolulu getting talked up on the radio. 3/31 – San Francisco, CA – Hotel Utah, 9pm

4/1 – Bakersfield, CA – Temblor Brewing Company, 7:30pm

4/2 – TBA

4/3 – Santa Cruz, CA – The Catalyst Club, 9pm

4/4 – San Diego, CA – The Casbah, 8:30pm

4/5 – Santa Barbara, CA – SOhO Restaurant & Music Club, 8pm

4/7 – Honolulu, HI – Hawaii Theatre Center, 7:30pm

4/8 – Kahului, HI – McCoy Studio Theater, 7:30pm

4/9 – Kailua-Kona, HI – Mad Marlin, 7pm

4/10 – Hilo, HI – The Polynesian Room, 7:30pm

It’s gonna be a great adventure and this will be our first time in most of these cities. If you live in the area be sure to rally your friends. And if you have friends or family in any of these towns or cities, be sure to send them our way and tell them to come say hello. See you out on the road (and on the Island)!!

GGG on Music City Roots!!

In late January we had the pleasure of stopping by Music City Roots just outside of Nashville in Franklin, Tennessee.
It was a pretty incredible night sharing the bill with Blackberry Smoke, Chester Thompson (Frank Zappa & The Mothers of Invention), Bill & The Belles, and Brian Whelan (Dwight Yoakam). Not to mention the show’s host Jim Lauderdale. We’d had the pleasure of meeting Jim a few years prior on another trip down to Tennessee and I must say, he is one of the nicest and most welcoming guys in the business. He even took the time to sit backstage and run through a few songs with me prior to the show. A true country gentleman.
Check out this video of me and the boys playing “Shake Like Jello” on MCR.GGG on Music City Roots

And to close the show Jim had the whole crew up for one big Nashville Jam. Someone should check, but this might be the first time 3 basses have ever been on the MCR stage playing together. “Sitting On Top Of The World“.

NYC, Easton and DC being rescheduled due to snow.

We were hoping out optimism would win out, but alas the snow has won this time around.

After much debate and weather tracking this weekends show are being rescheduled because on the blizzard.

Tonight’s show in NYC will be rescheduled for another date in the near future. And will be post as soon as the new date gets ironed out.

This Saturday’s show in Easton, MD, as well as this Sunday’s show in Washington DC are also cancelled due to the storm and we will post those rescheduled dates as soon as they come in.

It is always disappointing for us when this happens and thankfully it hasn’t happened to us all that often. Stay safe and warm, and don’t do any driving unless you really have to.

We’ll see you out on the road very soon. And our tour will pick back up on Jan 26 in Lexington, Kentucky. We’ll have some bad weather blues to rock through, so come out ready to party.
Much love and rock ‘n’ roll. -Ward

Girls Guns & Glory's 6th Annual Tribute to Hank Williams

Girls Guns & Glory’s 6th Annual Tribute to Hank Williams

We’re very excited to once again be paying tribute one of our biggest influences: Hank Williams.

This year we have 5 very special shows planned around New England, including a rare hometown show at The Sinclair in Cambridge, MA. We only played in Boston once last year and it’s looking like this may be the only time to see GGG in our own backyard in 2016 as well.

Back in the US and Back on the Road.

What a time we had overseas. 5 weeks of shows, travel, food, drinks, parties, afterparties, sleep, no-sleep, highs, lows and everything in between. The attacks in Paris we no doubt a low-light of our European Tour. We were safely about 4 hours outside of Paris at the time of the attacks. It was a little too close to comfort and we’re all still processing the sadness and loss suffered in this misguided act of terror. The night following the attack we had over 150 ticket cancellations for our show, but over 100 people still came out to rock with us. It was a highlight of the trip for me. Our show that night ended with the crowd on their feet singing along to I Saw the Light and Chris soloing to wild applause with the French flag draped over his shoulders. People sang with tears in their eyes and so did we. It was moving to connect with other people in such a peaceful and joyous way.

There have always been troubled times and we are no doubt finding ourselves in situations that will test us as human beings. But, finding moments of compassion and understanding with other people is a beautiful thing. Violence only instills fear, it doesn’t solve anything. And with the Holiday season getting close, now is as good of a time as any for all of us to share joy and happiness with everyone around us. We all have our own struggles, but having a shoulder to lean on helps in all regards.

For me, being in a foreign land that had just been attacked and seeing people come out with their cowboy boots and hats on really showed the perseverance of the human spirit. Where they did their best to converse with us in their sometimes broken English and vice verse, us trying to converse in our less than stellar French. Hanging out over beers and wine, talking about everything from Edith Piaf to Gram Parsons and feeling united in the spirit of enjoying the moment and a heightened appreciation of the time we still had to spend. It’s something that I’ll never forget.

We’re back in the US and there’s no rest for the weary. We’re actually quite excited to be returning to a few places we visited earlier this year and even hitting a few new markets on this run. Here’s where you can find us Dec 4th thru Dec 11th.

Dec 4 – New London, CT – Garde Arts Center, 8pm

Dec 5 – Albany, NY – The Low Beat, 8pm

Dec 6 – Buffalo, NY – The Sportsmen’s Tavern, 5pm

Dec 8 – Asbury Park, NJ – The Saint, 7pm

Dec 9 – Washington DC – Gypsy Sally’s, 8:30pm

Dec 10 – Wilmington, DE – World Cafe Live @ The Queen, 8pm

Dec 11 – Rehoboth Beach, DE – Dogfish Head, 10pm

Help spread the word, post about these shows on FB and Twitter. And be sure to bring your friends along to the show. See you out on the road!! -Ward, Paul, Josh & Chris
